Numerous representatives from local authorities, sports associations and the state of Rhineland-Palatinate took part in the event at the European Sports Academy in Trier to find out more about “Outdoor fitness and multigenerational sports for sports clubs and local authorities”. After the seminar program with presentations by Prof. Dr. Lutz Thieme (Koblenz University of Applied Sciences) and Angelika Speicher (Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of the Interior and Sport), the “outdoors” continued. At the 4FCIRCLE® movement course in the nearby Mosel stadium, sports scientist Oliver Seitz demonstrated the wide range of training options on the PLAYPARC fitness equipment and invited participants to try it out and exchange ideas.
We would like to thank all participants for their keen interest and the positive feedback. We enjoyed providing information about the opportunities, challenges and costs of outdoor fitness in public spaces.
Our special thanks go to Mr. Stefan Henn and the Sportakademie, who made this informative day possible and organized it. Demonstrating exercises on the “best practice” exercise course in the Mosel stadium was just as much fun for us as the intensive exchange of sporting and planning know-how on the subject of outdoor fitness for all.
